Realizing you need help

Asking for help can be hard but realizing that you actually need help is harder.  Nobody wants to admit that they actually need help. We view help as a sign of weakness or failure. As moms and women, we think we should be able to do everything and do it well. We are not suppose to need help.

Time Management to overcome Perfection

Using time management to overcome perfection

Another area in your life that can help with the need for perfection is time management. I know I always feel less than perfect when I forget an event or I’m running late to something. Well time management will not make you perfect it will make you feel like you have your life together. It can help when you are planning events to make sure that you get everything done that you want to and can help eliminate the mom guilt about forgetting something. Here a two of my time management tips to help you accomplish more so you don’t feel overwhelmed.

Day in Life

Day in life

This is a fun post to give you a glimpse into my life. I am always curious to see how other moms schedule their days so I thought it would be fun to show you mine. I also filmed it for my YouTube channel if you want to skip to the bottom and just watch the video. This was a Monday during the summer so there was no school. On school days the schedule is  a lot different.
